I am the son of a farmer and a Christian preschool teacher from Altoona, Iowa.  I graduated high school from Bondurant-Farrar near Des Moines, IA.  I was involved in many activities, sports, 4-H, and working on the farm as well as neighbors' farms. 

 

I graduated Magma Cum Laude and with Honors from Iowa State University with my Bachelors of Fine Arts in spring of 2009.  I focused in Studio Arts and primarily in chalk pastel drawings. I just graduated from Drake University for my Masters of Arts in Teaching for Secondary Art Education. 

I currently live back in Altoona on our family's old farmstead.  I just accepted the position of high school art teacher at Bondurant-Farrar starting in the Fall.  So between teaching, coaching, and helping out on the farm I try to get my drawings.
